THE BORED AND THE GUILTY

INT: ERIC SCHMIDT COMPOUND-MOUNTAIN VIEW, CALIFORNIA-10 AM

SCHMIDT

"Well I guess we could all see this coming, with the demise of Cyncl, everything just status quo, nothing accomplished, nothing touched, like nothing happened, what was the point anyway?"

ZIMMERMAN

"Why are you wasting your time on all these idiots, these wannabe's, there are bigger fish to fry out there, get over it?"

SCHMIDT

"Perhaps...but they amuse me...it really amazes me how people will kill themselves over some low ball existence, some type of spiritual thirst they must quench...with a chance of just meager awards...I just can't figure out why this pleases them, are they that easily amused?"

ZIMMERMAN

"What's the difference, I can't even understand why it bothers you anyway, you have all the money you'll ever need...that we will ever need...and you waste your time boring yourself with those that find their challenges through constructive foreplay, have you forgotten of your beginnings?"

SCHMIDT

"I know, I know...but I knew I destined for greatness long before it showed up in my bank account...look the stockholders were rewarded, I simply took my percentage for bringing this empire to life, this dream took hold like a bull by the horns!"

ZIMMERMAN

"But, that's the problem, the dream has outgrown original thought, you've got complexities to this business that only computers can solve...you've just become a whore to your empire of which you can't expand on without the help of engineers and massive computations...you have outgrown your own capabilities, you in essence have grown quite pathetic!"

SCHMIDT

"Rich and pathetic, although I must admit...I see your point, but you share the same ride...hey we are both heathens to corruption, messing with people, happy with their simple challenges..."

ZIMMERMAN

"What do we stand for then...the challenge was to create an empire...we did, and now it's gotten so fucking big, they don't even need us anymore?"

SCHMIDT

"Seems to be, it is what it is, we could both die tomorrow and the world probably wouldn't even take notice!"

ZIMMERMAN

"All I know, is that they seem to take notice when I come and buy out their property...like taking seven homes in Malibu, one clean sweep in one day...yea I felt a rush!"

SCHMIDT

"You did indeed, I could feel the rush, you did it, I could tell a mile away, almost overwhelming me with your lust, your thirst, your greed...all powerful and God-like, does anything control you, have you no emotion except from the inside, beyond the need to just take from others?"

ZIMMERMAN

"The way I look at it, is that I...that I have paid good money for my acquisitions...everybody wins when you think about it, it's for the cause...our master plan anyway, you remember right?"

SCHMIDT

"Well yes...and you do have a point...after all, there's plenty more dollars where those came from!"

ZIMMERMAN

"You make way too much sense sometime's Eric...all the more reason to hate your guts, but every possible reason to Love you just as you are!

SCHMIDT

"Don't get mushy on me, don't you have some property's to take over?"

ZIMMERMAN

"Your right and it's still morning, what in the hell am I doing rattling my ass with you?"

SCHMIDT

"That's my boy...go get 'em!"
