DETECTIVE MIKE FORREST AND DETECTIVE GLENN PARKER ARE GOING THROUGH GPS LOCATIONS AND HAVE DISCOVERED BACK TRACK OF RON SHEFFIELD'S BENTLEY
DETECTIVE MIKE
"Looks like after it left the Palm's it almost beelined to the courthouse, wonder what the rush could have been?"
DETECTIVE GLENN
"Probably for what ever reason he came into Vegas for in the first place...I doubt it was for a wedding license, people like him usually don't ever get married..."
DETECTIVE MIKE
"Well, these kind of cows aren't free!"
GLENN
"What's that suppose to mean?"
MIKE
"Just the saying, why get married when your getting the cow for free...that's all!"
GLENN
"That's the silliest analogy I've ever heard...that just applies to us non-millionaires, but your point is made..."
SUSIE ROTH (DETECTIVE'S ASSISTANT) COMES IN
"Hey, Glenn...I got you the feeds from those GPS's and we tracked them on the NESPA, it shows every intersection he went through to the courthouse, did you want this on the IP4...I'll send it to your file?"
GLENN
"Yea, but look and see if there was anything going on around the courthouse?"

GLENN PROMPTS COMPUTER INTO HIS IP4 FILES AND STARTS FAST TRACKING ACTIVITY RECORDED ON THE COURTHOUSE SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM
HE LOCATES RON SHEFFIELD'S BENTLEY QUICKLY, ZOOMS IN AND PLAYS REAL-TIME PLAY BACK OF ACTIVITIES
HE SPOTS TWO GIRLS GETTING OUT AND WALKING TO THE DOOR OF THE COURTHOUSE, THEN SEE'S A DIFFERENT GIRL WALKING BACK TO CAB STAND WHERE THE BENTLEY IS PARKED, THE TWO OTHER GIRLS ARE SEEN WALKING BEHIND OTHER GIRLS, HE FREEZES VIDEO AND ZOOMS IN
GLENN
"Who in the world is that in the front?"
MIKE
"If you can get a face shot, we can face track her...looks like one girl has..."
GLENN
"Yea, I know...she's got a gun stuck in her back, I see that!"
GLENN LOOKS INTO THE COMPUTER FILES AND PICKS UP A DIFFERENT CAMERA ANGLE FROM ACROSS THE STREET
GLENN
"Here's one we can use, let me zoom in...wait, if I go back I can get a clear face before she puts her sunglasses on, there!"
MIKE TAKES FREEZE-FRAME AND RUNS IT THROUGH RECORDS
10 SECONDS LATER IT POPS UP A SANDY CASHMAN OF MODESTO, CALIFORNIA
MIKE
"Well, isn't that interesting, wonder what she was doing here?"
GLENN
"According to an activity report, she was here filing a post report for an incident that occurred at the Palm's Casino just two weeks ago."
MIKE
"What type of incident?"
GLENN
"It says the victim was kidnapped from her suite at the Palm's while her new husband slept...oh, there we go, they were newlyweds staying on the tenth floor in the Honeymooner's Suite. Her husband, a Brian Cashman also from Modesto alerted the main desk and apparently tried to locate her. She allegedly broke free from the room on the ninth floor where she was being held and went back to her suite where the accused followed her, and were subsequently arrested and charged with kidnapping and attempted rape...lot going on here!"
MIKE
"So, I'm guessing she was finalising her charges, probably going through prim discovery or something?"
GLENN
"Could be, but what was the tie with Sheffield, something is not clicking here...call up Modesto police and see if Detective Brown's in the house?"
MIKE LOOKING UP NUMBER IN EXCHANGE, CALLS MODESTO POLICE'S DETECTIVE DIVISION
MIKE
"Afternoon, this is Detective Mike Forrest, Vegas CSI...is they're a Detective Brown there?"
MIKE BROWN
"Yea, this is Mike, Mike Brown, what can I help you with?"
MIKE
"Yes, we were working on an investigation on the murder of a Ron Sheffield from your area, and we were trying to get some preliminary information on a Sandy Cashman who was over here during the course of the incident, apparently on a series of charges on two men who had reportedly kidnapped and attempted a rape, do you know this person?"
MIKE BROWN
"Oh yea, we've been around the block a few times, people constantly harassing her over her vineyard, she owns the Hudson Vineyard, and people have been coming out of the woodwork for almost a year now."
GLENN
"Let me talk to him..."
MIKE
"Hold on, I'm going to let you talk to my partner here..."
HANDS PHONE OVER TO GLENN
"Hey Mike, Glenn Parker how's everything been up in God's country?"
BROWN
"Hey Glenn, great hearing you again...haven't seen you since, since..."
GLENN
"Since the Detective's banquet over here...you got a pin, I got another pin, and it's all about the pins...just don't talk like that..."
BROWN
"I know...around your wife...can't believe your actually still married to a woman who still does your laundry...my wife Cindy sends me packing to the cleaners with anything connected to the agency, so anyway...what can I do you?"
GLENN
"I need you to locate this Sandy Hudson and see if she could make some statements about this footage we found of her being forced into Ron Sheffield's Bentley...I'm trying establish a motive or even a reason why she never reported this incident."
BROWN
"I don't know Glenn, the Sheffield's are a pretty shady bunch, even on a good day...tried prosecuting them on a conspiracy to take grapes from the Hudson Vineyards, but none of the evidence stuck, the Cashman's didn't even want to prosecute, and instead of just going away, they just keep plowing away, and finally...look what happened?"
GLENN
"Like always, greed gets in the way...here you have a multi-millionaire with a jet driving his Bentley from Modesto to Vegas...I knew I smelled a rat!"
BROWN
"Well, now you got me curious, cause I hope she's okay...I mean you have to understand, Sandy is one tough girl...it wouldn't be just a few times when she's taken the law into her own hands, even killed a vandal trying to break-in, wrestles Bears to their death, the girl is a handful!"
GLENN
"Well Mike, we'll stand by and see what you come up with, is that good for you?"
BROWN
"Sure Glenn, no problem...let me go see if I can hunt her down, you all take care of what I left behind over there okay?"
GLENN
"What, you lost something over here, what did you leave behind?"
BROWN
"If I'm correct, I think it was about two weeks salary!"
GLENN LAUGHING
"In that case, we appreciate the donation...your contribution will be put to good use, your a good man Mike!"
BROWN
"Let me check on Sandy and I'll get back to you, later!"
GLENN
"Sounds good, I sent you my IP4 file to your site, take care, bye!"
