My Trip Back To Vegas (Day 2)

Day Two-Went over to Harrah's Casino on the strip to see a practice performance of Million Dollar Interlude. It's the story of Carl Perkins, Johnny Cash, and Elvis getting together for one session. Based on a true story, it was a once in a life time event, never to be repeated again.
Saw my old school freind LL Cool Jay, who still hates me for messing DBX on "Authentic". But hey, anyone can make a mess of an open rap session with no cue points! If you have ever messed with DBX, there are like 20 different sets of codecs, and if you have no preplanned conscriptures...your screwed!
Anyway, some better talented engineer geek freinds came in at the last moment to save the day. Yea, I eventually got paid, but I thought for a moment he was going to run my ass over with his Bentley. We talked money for a second and he asked me what it felt like to make my first mill? I told him I never acheived that, at least not yet, but I did get to 670K one year running my little satellite business over in Texas, and there still were freiks coming out of the bushes, everyone with a gimmick or scheme, wanting you to fund their dream. Had to drop 25K on a security girl to make sure that I could get to work in the morning.
LL laughed and talked about all the crap he had to go through when he firsts started laying down tracks, he soon realised he needed to get a "posse". It's a brither thing, like Tyson , you don't know who's holding, but you have a pretty good idea one of them is! If the police show up, the piece moves pretty quickly, usually a hotel planter or something. Love ya Cool J, stay cool. To everyone else, Happy Mother's Day, Till next week, take care and be good!
